| South view from bedroom windows upon moving in! That's
my "garden" down there with the trash-filled
"feature"!!! Just behind the digger is the Manure
Mountain |

| Above that fence there is still a stunning
view over farmland and the spire of the church in the
next village can be seen on all but the most hazy days
(and when leaves are not out on the trees!) but now I
have a little more interest in that corner. I'd have made
the bed larger but nearly needed a jackhammer to dig that
small bit as it was! Hopefully that area will get enlarged
in future! |

the future "Tree Bed". That's the corner of
the patio to the left. |

| This is the "Tree Bed" mid-July,
2002. Ivy is getting itself established as a ground cover
back there, and I've planted some violets. That red splash
in the left lower corner is Red Carpet Lilium in it's
second year in that pot on the corner of the patio. |

place to sit with a cuppa and think and chill out (literally,
I bought a patio warmer for cool days and evenings!) |
