Lakshmi Sridharan

Roses are the dominant species in my garden. They bloom even in November. Mine is a house of trellises. Climbing roses, Morning Glory, Jasmines (some from
India) Honey Suckle and Clematis grow gracefully on the arbors and pergola. Birds nest in the climbers year after year.

Baby chicks in the nest.
I grow plants from all over the world. No where in a home garden in the USA, will you see a neem tree (Melia azadirachta) or a curry tree (Murraya koenigii). Neem has become the most popular tree in the world as more and more gardeners are for
biological control of pests and pathogens. Neem oil is a potent pesticide, a fungicide, a bactericide and a viricide. My foot tree produces fragrant white flowers
with a lilac tint. I use the leaves of curry plant for flavoring.
